US-Latin America Trade Grew 4% Last Year

Brazil exports to US fell, US trade deficit with Mexico widened nearly 15%.

US trade with Latin America increased 4% last year to $1.3 trillion, according to a Latinvex analysis of US Census Bureau data.

While the top two trade partners – Mexico and Brazil – saw lackluster growth, countries like Argentina, Peru and Costa Rica saw double-digit expansion.

The growth last year represents a slowdown from 2024, when it grew 4.5%.
