Skadden Advises $2.5 Bln Citi-Banamex Deal

Gibson Dunn, Simpson Thacher advise Visa-Prisma deal in Argentina.

Skadden is advising Citibank on its $2.5 billion sale of a 24% stake in its Mexican subsidiary Banamex to a group of buyers and Simpson Thacher is representing one of the buyers, Brazilian BTG Pactual; Gibson Dunn and Simpson Thacher advised on US-based Visa’s acquisition of Prisma Medios de Pago and Newpay in Argentina from US-based Advent International; Skadden is advising US-based Tidewater on its acquisition of all of the outstanding shares of Wilson Sons Ultratug Participações and its affiliate Atlantic Offshore Services at an enterprise value of approximately $500 million and Latham & Watkins advised Quona on its investment in Brazilian fintech Avenia.
