

Simpson Thacher Advises YPF Luz Offer

Simpson Thacher advised the $420 million offer from Argentine energy company YPF Luz; Baker McKenzie advised Energía Renovable de la Península in a refinancing deal of $ 88.9 million through the issuance and sale of Senior Secured Notes; A&O Shearman advised AES Andes, Colbún, Engie Energía and Generadora Metropolitana on the sale of certain securities issued by the Chilean Electricity Tariff Stabilization Fund (FET); Cleary Gottlieb represented Compañía Minera del Pacífico (CMP), a subsidiary of Chile’s largest iron ore producer CAP, in a term loan with Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Bank and DLA Piper advised joint venture AC2 in a $70 million financing for the development of a industrial built-to-suit warehouse in Hidalgo, Mexico.
