White & Case advises EIG’s acquisition of TGP stake in Peru.

Sullivan & Cromwell successfully persuaded the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit to grant a stay of a district court order requiring Argentina to turn over its 51% stake in Argentine energy company YPF to partially satisfy a $16.1 billion U.S. judgment; White & Case is advising US-based energy and infrastructure institutional investor EIG on its acquisition of a 49.87% equity ownership stake in Transportadora de Gas del Perú from Canada Pension Plan Investment Board and Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough acted as U.S. legal counsel to Brazil-based Quatá Investimentos in connection with its flip to a Cayman-US structure and formation of a new parent entity, IORQ, a Brazilian fintech infrastructure company focused on modernizing financial services across Latin America.
