S&C Advises $3 Bln Lundin-BHP-Filo Deal
Clifford Chance, Davis Polk, Nelson Mullins advise LatAm financing.

S&C advised Canadian miner Lundin Mining on its agreement with Australia-based miner BHP to jointly acquire 100 percent of South America-focused mining company Filo for $3 billion; Davis Polk is advising Brazilian cosmetics company Natura with the chapter 11 proceedings of its non-operational subsidiary Avon Products, Inc. (API); Clifford Chance advised on a $125 million loan for a mining services company in Peru and Nelson Mullins represented Brazil-linked digital assets infrastructure company Parfin in a Series A investment round for $10 million.
