Mexico: Hogan Lovells Advises Equifax Deal

A&O Shearman, Latham & Watkins, Milbank advise Latin American deals.

Hogan Lovells Cadwalader advised US-based Equifax on its $750 million acquisition of Mexican credit information services company Círculo de Crédito; Latham & Watkins advised Puerto Rico-based EnergyX on the $225 million strategic investment from Italian energy firm Eni for a minority stake in Project Black Giant, one of the world’s largest lithium resource projects located in Antofagasta, Chile; Milbank is advising Chilean retailer Cencosud in connection with its acquisition of leading Colombian retailer Makro Supermayorista;Simpson Thacher represented Brazilian investment bank BTG Pactual as co-leading investor in a $85 million Series D financing round of Colombian fintech Addi and A&O Shearman advised UAE-based investor group Summit Ventures on its acquisition of X Games Club (XC) São Paulo.
