Latin America’s Top 100 Lawyers
Latinvex singles out the top foreign lawyers in Latin America.
The editorial and research staff of Latinvex has selected the leading attorneys from international law firms that are involved in the legal business in Latin America.
The 11th annual ranking includes 100 attorneys from 62 law firms — major firms as well as boutique firms — and spans 14 categories, including arbitration & litigation, banking & finance, capital markets, corporate/M&A, energy, FCPA & fraud and project finance.
The criteria used was a combination of factors, including recent track record on major deals and business, prominence of firm in Latin America and rankings by third parties such as Chambers and Partners, Legal 500 and Refinitiv.
Latinvex used data from our annual survey of international firms as well as publicly-available information.
This year, 16 attorneys were new compared with last year’s list. Meanwhile, eight of the lawyers from last year that were included this year as well have changed firms.
