Latin America M&As Fell 38% in First Quarter
Mergers and acquisitions in Brazil declined 49% in the first three months.

Merger and acquisition activity continues to be relatively weak in Latin America, with the first quarter posting a 38% decline in value, according to LSEG.
That compares with a 69% decline in the first quarter last year and a 18% decline for the full year 2023.
