Latham & Watkins advised Grupo Financiero Galicia, the largest private financial group in Argentina, on the acquisition of HSBC’s Argentina business for $550 million; Simpson Thacher represented the initial purchasers on the $600 million offer from Peru-based Nexa Resources; Cleary Gottlieb represented the initial purchasers on the $500 million offer from Brazilian rental car company Movida and Carey Olsen and Harneys advised the Bermuda Stock Exchange listing of British Virgin Islands registered companies Heather Venture Holdings Ltd. and Tapir Holdings Ltd.
