Kirkland, Roschier Advise Atlas-Millicom Deal

Cleary, King & Spalding, Latham, Paul Hastings, Simpson advise LatAm deals.

Kirkland & Ellis and Roschier are advising French businessman Xavier Niel’s offer to buy Luxembourg-based Millicom (a provider of fixed and mobile telecommunications services in Latin America) in a deal that values Millicom at $4.1 billion; Cleary Gottlieb and Simpson Thacher advised Brazilian investment bank BTG Pactual’s acquisition of US-based M.Y. Safra Bank for an undisclosed amount;  Paul Hastings advised Brazilian commercial real estate company SYN Prop E Tech in the $369 million sale of six shopping centers to XP (the largest real estate transaction in Brazil in 2024); King & Spalding and Latham & Watkins advised Golar LNG’s deal with Pan American Energy for a 20-year deployment of a Floating Liquefied Natural Gas vessel in Argentina and Paul Hastings advised Brazilian carbon production company Unimetal’s acquisition US-based Larpen Metallurgical Service for an undisclosed amount.
