Kennedys Names New Latin America Head

Mayer Brown closes Mexico office, DLA Piper Chile expands, Vance Center names new committee members.

A Mexico City-based lawyer has been appointed as the Regional Managing Partner for LATAM and Caribbean for UK-based insurance law specialist Kennedys; Mayer Brown has closed its Mexico City office and several of its previous staff have founded a new law firm in Mexico; Chilean arbitration lawyer has joined DLA Piper Chile as a partner in the Dispute Resolution Practice and the Cyrus R. Vance Center for International Justice announced it has added six new members to its Committee, including four lawyers that focus on Latin America.
