Hogan Lovells Cadwalader Advises ENGIE Brasil Follow-On

Hogan Lovells Cadwalader advised ENGIE Brasil Energia (a unit of French energy giant Engie) on its $1.6 billion follow-on equity offering; Cleary Gottlieb and Skadden advised the $213 million initial public offering and $94 million concurrent private placement of Mexican mining company Sinda (the first Mexican IPO this year); Simpson Thacher advised Colombia-based Avianca’s $650 million offer; Milbank advised Fintech Latam on the 6.9 billion Mexican pesos (approximately US$400 million) offering of zero-coupon mandatory convertible debentures issued by Mexican media company Grupo Televisa; Clifford Chance advised Argentine renewable energy company MSU Green Energy’s $400 million offer; Simpson Thacher advised Intercorp Peru’s $300 million offer; DLA Piper advised Argentine electricity distributor Edemsa’s $300 million offer; Argentine electricity distributor Edenor’s 213 million offer and the Province of Chubut on the issuance of $20 million treasury notes; White & Case advised Brazilian renewable energy generation company Casa dos Ventos on the issuance of $1.1 billion in senior guaranteed notes issued by certain subsidiaries of Casa dos Ventos and S&C advised the joint bookrunners on Mexico’s $6.3 billion offer.
