Firms Advise $4 Bln Latin America Offers
Cleary, Davis Polk, Simpson, Skadden advise Brazil, Mexico, Paraguay offers.

Cleary Gottlieb and Simpson Thacher advised the 20 billion peso (US$1.17 billion) offer from Mexican telecom giant América Móvil; Cleary Gottlieb represented the Republic of Paraguay (Paraguay) in two bonds that raised a combined $1 billion; Simpson Thacher represented Brazilian environmental emergency response company Ambipar’s $750 million offer; Davis Polk and Skadden advised the $600 million offer from Brazilian sugar and ethanol producer Cosan and Cleary Gottlieb and Davis Polk advised the $502 million offer from Brazilian electricity company Energisa.
