Dollarized Countries See Lowest Inflation
Argentina will see the highest rate unless it dollarizes first.

Latin America’s three dollarized countries El Salvador, Ecuador and Panama will see the lowest inflation the five-year period 2024-28, according to a Latinvex analysis of new projections from the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
Meanwhile, Argentina will have the highest inflation during the same period. The country’s new president Javier Milei has pledged to dollarize the economy in an effort to reduce inflation.
