DLA Piper, Milbank Advise Cox Deal, Offer

Firms advised Cox-Iberdrola deal, financing and US debt offer.

DLA Piper and Milbank advised multi-billion work for Spanish energy company Cox related to its Mexico business.

DLA Piper advised the closing of the $4.2 billion acquisition of Iberdrola’s Mexico assets and related financing by Cox, while Milbank advised on the $2 billion offer in the US capital markets for Cox Asset México, which was used to partially finance the Iberdrola deal.
