Davis Polk, Latham, Orrick advise Vitro merger, Microsoft reforestation deal.

Debevoise & Plimpton is advising Brazilian investment bank BTG Pactual in its minority investment, alongside other investors, in Pershing Square, a newly formed limited partnership that owns 100% of Pershing Square Capital Management, in a transaction valued at $1.05 billion; Simpson Thacher advised on a $500 million offer from Univision Communications (a wholly owned subsidiary of Mexican-American broadcasting company TelevisaUnivision); Latham & Watkins represented Summit Partners in its investment in Brazilian Banking as a Service (BaaS) financial technology company Celcoin; Davis Polk advised Brazilian education company Vitru Limited on its merger with its Brazilian subsidiary, effectively migrating its stock exchange listing from Nasdaq to Brazilian stock exchange B3 and Orrick advised Microsoft in a novel set of carbon removal streaming and offtake agreements in Panama in collaboration with Carbon Streaming Corporation and Rubicon Carbon.
