Davis Polk advised the dealer managers in connection with the Republic of Peru’s $1.2 billion exchange and tender offers and the dealer managers and solicitation agents in connection with Bunge’s offer to exchange up to $1.9 billion aggregate principal amount of notes issued by Viterra Finance; Cleary Gottlieb represented Mexico-based, Latin American telecom carrier América Móvil in the reopening of three series of its senior notes totaling 15.5 billion pesos (US$638 million); DLA Piper advised the Argentine Province of Mendoza on the issuance of Class 1 TAMAR debt securities for a total amount of approximately 39.80 billion pesos (US$31.6 million) and Class 2 TAMAR debt securities for a total amount of approximately 29.25 billion pesos; White & Case advised Mexico-based Exitus Capital on its issuance of 1.0 billion pesos (US$53.2 million) aggregate principal amount of trust certificates (certificados bursátiles fiduciarios) and Scotiabank Perú on the issuance of $400 million of its Tier 2 capital notes.
