Colombia: Latham & Watkins, Milbank Advise Telefonica Sale
Holland & Knight, Milbank, Simpson Thacher advise LatAm offers, finance.

Latham & Watkins and Milbank advised the $400 million sale of Spanish telco Telefonica’s Colombia business to Luxembourg-based, Latin America-focused Millicom; Holland & Knight has advised on the preparation for two offers in Colombia by energy company Grupo Energía Bogotá and financing company RCI Colombia totalling $825 million and Costa Rica-based CrediQ, a leading auto finance company in Central America, on a $200 million credit facility; Simpson Thacher advised the $100 million offer from Brazilian ethanol producer FS Group and Milbank advised on the $1.75 billion offers from Brazilian energy company Raízen.
