Cleary, Shearman, Simpson Advise $5.2 Bln LatAm Offers

Cleary Gottlieb advised on the €2 billion (US$2.2 billion) offer from Mexico (its largest ever of euro bonds) and the $800 million offer from Argentine state oil company YPF; Shearman & Sterling represented Colombian state oil company Ecopetrol in connection with its SEC-registered offering of $1.85 billion 8.375% Notes due 2036 and Shearman and Simpson Thacher advised on the $300 million offer from Peru’s Interbank.
