Cleary, Shearman Advise $3.7 Bln Chile Offers

Davis Polk, Gibson Dunn advise the $1.35 billion offer from CABEI.

Cleary Gottlieb and Shearman &Sterling advised the $2 billion offer from Chilean state copper giant Codelco and the $1.7 billion offer from the Republic of Chile; Davis Polk and Gibson Dunn advised the $1.35 billion offer from the Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI); Milbank advised on Colombian state oil company Ecopetrol’s $1.85 billion offer; Davis Polk advised the $600 million offer from Brazilian bioethanol, sugar and energy producer Cosan; Simpson Thacher advised the $241 million offer from Univision and Cleary Gottlieb represented Brazilian payments platform Inter & Co in its $140 million follow-on.
