Cleary Gottlieb advised $4 billion offers from the Dominican Republic; Davis Polk and Simpson Thacher advised Colombian airline Avianca’s $1 billion senior secured notes offering and a $1.1 billion exchange offer and consent solicitation, Simpson Thacher advised $1.75 billion offers from Brazilian energy company Raizen; Davis Polk advised Mexican miner Minera México’s $1 billion offer; Simpson Thacher advised the exchange offer from Mexico-based telecom company Total Play and the $350 million offer from Peru’s Interbanco; Milbank advised the $1.1 billion offer from Mexico-based energy company Saavi Energía and the $600 million offer by Uruguay-based Arcos Dorados (the world’s largest independent McDonald’s franchisee) and Davis Polk advised the $945 million offer from the Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI).
