Akin, Simpson Thacher advise Latin America deal, Brazil offer.

Cleary Gottlieb represented the Republic of Uruguay’s $1.5 billion offer and the dealers on BBVA México’s $1 billion offer; Simpson Thacher represented Brazilian environmental prevention solutions company Ambipar’s $400 million offer and Akin advised US-based Clear Channel Outdoor Holdings in the sale of its businesses in Mexico, Peru and Chile to Chile-based Global Vía Pública for $20 million.
