
Cleary Gottlieb Advises $12 Bln Mexico Offer
Baker McKenzie, Holland & Knight advise largest IPO in Mexico in seven years.

Cleary Gottlieb represented Mexico in its offering of $12 billion of pre-capitalized securities (P-Caps) as part of a series of measures to provide support to state oil company Pemex in the management and improvement of its balance sheet; Baker McKenzie and Holland & Knight advised the $450 million initial public offering by Mexican real estate investment trust Fibra Next — the largest IPO in Mexico in seven years and one of the largest IPOs in Latin America in recent years; Simpson Thacher advised the $1.5 billion offer by Univision Communications (a wholly-owned subsidiary of Mexican-American media company TelevisaUnivision) and three offers by Mexico-based, Latin American telecom company América Móvil that raised a combined $829 million.
