Brazil, Mexico M&A Outlook: Elections, USMCA Review Weigh Heavily

Experts share their insights on the M&A outlook in Brazil and Mexico this year.

Presidential elections in Brazil in October and the scheduled July 2026 review of the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA) are seen as key to the prospects for mergers and acquisitions in Brazil and Mexico, experts say.

But both countries are seen as strong markets for M&As this year.
