Bracewell and HSF Kramer advised the $1.33 billion sale of Canada-based Gran Tierra Energy’s oil business in Colombia and Ecuador to France-based Maurel & Prom; White & Case advised US-based PGIM Real Estate on the establishment of a private real estate fund targeting approximately $700 million in aggregate capital commitments and focused on industrial real estate investments in Mexico; Clifford Chance advised US-based APA Corporation on the farm-down of 40% of its participating interest in Block 6, offshore Uruguay, to Italian oil company Eni; Arnold & Porter advised Canada-based Volaris Group in its acquisition of L5 Networks, a Brazilian provider of cloud-based corporate communications solutions and omnichannel and corporate collaboration platforms; Skadden represented SKY in its integration into the airline portfolio of Abra Group, owner of Avianca and GOL and a strategic investor in Wamos Air, through a share exchange; and Arnold & Porter has advised Itaú Unibanco, Brazil’s and Latin America’s largest bank, in securing preliminary conditional approval from the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) to establish a new national bank in the United States.
