Baker McKenzie and Cleary Gottlieb are advising on the $500 million consent solicitation and CUSIP exchange offer from Mexican conglomerate Alfa; Cleary Gottlieb represented Mexican state electricity company CFE on its $1.5 billion offer and the initial purchaser of the Municipality of Lima’s 332.2 million follow-on; Clifford Chance advised the initial purchasers on Colombian electric power generation company Termocandelaria’s $425 million offer and Holland & Knight represented Nomura on a private placement of the Colombian peso equivalent of $50 million issued by Colombian trust Patrimonio FAP Autonomo EXCEL CREDIT-NOMURA.
