Cleary Gottlieb represented the Dominican Republic in three bonds totaling $3.8 billion, Brazilian state oil company Petrobras in an A/B exchange offer of $4.04 billion, the international placement agents in the $570 million IPO of Brazilian pet retailer Petz; Goodwin advised Advent International on its fundraising for its new $2 billion Latin American Private Equity Fund ; Shearman & Sterling represented the international placement agents on the $130 million offer by Brazilian homebuilder Melnick Even and Baker Botts advised US-based Liberty Latin America on a rights offering expected to raise $350 million.
