Argentina and Mexico key growth markets, with good potential in Cuba.

Gowling WLG, the result of the merger of Canada-based Gowlings and UK-based Wragge Lawrence & Graham in March, sees strong opportunities in several Latin American markets, including Cuba and Argentina.
“Latin America is an increasingly important market for the combined firm,” says France Tenaille, co-leader of the firm’s Latin America team. “Gowling WLG has a strong focus in energy, mining and infrastructure which fits well with many countries in the Latin American region.”
Even before the merger, Gowlings ranked as the largest Canadian law firm on the latest Latinvex tally of top international law firms in Latin America in terms of both partners and total attorneys (including counsels and associates).
