Lower oil prices dampens interest in Argentina as it changes course.

Mexico’s energy sector will be one of the few bright spots for foreign investors in Latin America this year, while Argentina will see more interest in the longer run, experts say.
“Mexico should be one of the few bright spots for energy investment this year, albeit a relatively modest one given the market realities of low commodity prices,” says Carlos Solé, Co-Chair of the Latin America Practice at Baker Botts.
