Latin America’s hottest markets for US and foreign exporters the next three years.

What are the hottest markets in Latin America for US and other foreign exporters the next three years?

In the widest ranking of its kind, Latinvex identified them based on 21 different factors that measure the potential, as well as the ease, of exporting to the markets using data from the International Monetary Fund, The World Bank, the World Economic Forum, the United Nations Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean, the UN International Trade Center, the UK-based Center for Economic Policy Research, the Population Reference Bureau and Latinvex.

We looked at 19 countries in Latin America, ranging from Brazil (the largest economy) to Haiti (the smallest).

In addition to the basic criteria such as GDP and import size, we looked at such factors as import growth and GDP growth the past three years and projected import growth the next three years. We also looked at the average GDP per capita for the next three years to indicate potential consumer purchasing power.
