Linklaters Advises $2 Bln Codelco Offer

Simpson Thacher advises $850 million offer from Braskem.

Linklaters advised two offers from Chilean state copper Codelco totaling $2 billion; Simpson Thacher advised on Brazilian petrochemical company Braskem’s $850 million offer and UK law firm Watson Farley & Williams advised Bermuda-based BW Energy on an up-to $80 million prepayment facility to fund the purchase of the Golfinho oil field located in the Espírito Santo Basin offshore Brazil from oil and gas giant Petrobras.
