Cleary Gottlieb Advises $3.3 Bln LatAm Offers


Shearman & Sterling advises $750 million Banco do Brasil offer.

Cleary Gottlieb represented the United Mexican States (Mexico) in a registered offering of $2.9 billion global bonds; Shearman & Sterling represented Banco do Brasil’s offering of $750 million Sustainability Bonds; Simpson Thacher represented Brazilian healthcare network DASA on its $336 million offer; Cleary Gottlieb represented Mexican petrochemical  company Grupo IDESA in an $286 million exchange offer and Brazil-focused Seacrest Petroleo in its $236 million initial public offering in Norway (the only Latin American IPO so far this year) and Davis Polk advised Banco Santander Chile in connection with its Regulation S offering of $30 million aggregate principal amount of 5.837% senior fixed-rate notes due 2024.
