Skadden is advising the shareholders of Brazilian retailer Casa do Adubo in connection with its sale to Canadian fertilizer maker Nutrien Ltd for an undisclosed amount and the closing of the sale of Citi assets in Uruguay and Puerto Rico; Cleary Gottlieb represented Brazilian industrial conglomerate Votorantim in connection with the formation of a $700 million co-investment vehicle with Singaporean state investment company Temasek; White & Case advised the Del Río family on the $1.5 billion business combination of the Derco Group with Inchcape and Foley & Lardner advised on the $15 million funding round in Brazilian open banking startup Klavi.
