Loyens & Loeff Advises $746 Mln Millicom Offer


Simpson Thacher, White & Case advise Brazil, Mexico offers.

Netherlands-based law firm Loyens & Loeff advised on the $746 million offer from Luxembourg-based, Latin America-focused telecom carrier Millicom; White & Case advised the underwriters and international placement agents on the $6.9 billion share sale and privatization of Brazilian state electricity company Eletrobras and Mexican auto finance company Cetelem on two series of Mexican pesos-denominated issuances of debt securities in the form of certificados bursátiles and Simpson Thacher represented the solicitation agent on the consent solicitation from FS Luxembourg (a unit of Brazil-based ethanol producer FS Bio).
