Panama Richest Country in Latin America


While Venezuela getting poorer and poorer each year.

PANAMA CITY – Panama became Latin America’s richest country last year and will remain so the next five years as well, according to a Latinvex analysis of new data and projections from the International Monetary Fund (IMF).

The data looks at gross domestic product based on purchasing-power-parity (PPP) per capita GDP to measure wealth.

According to the IMF, Panama replaced Chile as Latin America’s richest country ...
