Capital Markets: Solid Argentina, Mexico Outlook
As Brazil faces short-term political and economic challenges.

Capital markets in Argentina and Mexico have a strong outlook this year, while Brazil faces short-term challenges related to political and economic turmoil, experts say.
“I am cautiously optimistic regarding the overall outlook for Latin America related capital markets work this year,” says Michael Fitzgerald, chairman of the Latin America practice at Paul Hastings. “Of course, the amount of activity depends to a large extent on the country that is being considered. Almost every major jurisdiction, with the possible exception of Brazil, holds promise for debt and equity related capital markets work.”
