The top female lawyers specializing in Latin America.
BY LATINVEX STAFF
The editorial staff of Latinvex selects the top 100 female lawyers specializing in Latin America among international law firms.
We looked at nearly 100 law firms and in the end chose 100 attorneys from 57 different firms based in the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada and the Cayman Islands.
The criteria for our selection was a combination of factors, including recent track record on major deals and business, prominence of firm in Latin America and rankings by third parties such as Chambers and Partners, Legal 500 and Thomson Reuters.
Our research was based on data provided to Latinvex by the firms, publicly-available data from the firms as well as recognition from third parties such as Chambers and Partners and the Legal 500.
Their expertise spans more than ten different areas, ranging from capital markets and M&As to environment and labor. We broke down the top lawyers by eight of those categories: arbitration/litigation, banking/finance, capital markets, corporate/M&A, energy, FCPA, mining and project finance.
