Peru M&As: Record Year

Peru is expected to set a new record in mergers and acquisitions this year.

LIMA --- Despite a slight slowing of the Peruvian economy, Peru is set to have another record breaking year for mergers and acquisitions and lawyers at prominent Lima firms expect a continued growth in this activity in 2015.  

While the mining and energy sector are expected to continue to be the stars of M&A activity, lawyers expect to see many medium-ticket deals in two sectors that most reflect the changing face of Peru:  health and education.
