Brazil M&As jump 29.3 percent during first nine months.

The value of announced M&As in Latin America declined 6.3 percent to $75.9 billion during the first nine months this year, according to Thomson Reuters.
However, the value of announced M&As in Brazil jumped 29.3 percent to $49.4 billion.
Telecom Argentina’s merger with Cablevision became the second-largest announced deal, China’s State Power’s acquisition of a hydro dam concession in Brazil became the third-largest.
