The top 500 companies in Latin America based on 2013 revenues.

Brazil and Argentina dragged down company revenues in Latin America last year, according to the latest ranking of the region’s Top 500 Companies from Latinvex. The ranking uses data from individual companies and Economatica.
Meanwhile, overall profits fell in Brazil, Mexico and Peru.
Brazil’s state oil company Petrobras remains the top company in Latin America, both in revenues and profits.
However, Brazilian meat producer JBS replaced Colombian state oil company Ecopetrol as Latin America’s sixth-largest company, while French retailer Casino went from 11th to 7th place on the ranking.
Venezuelan state oil company PDVSA has still not provided data for its 2013 sales and is therefore not included.
