Latham & Watkins Advises Mercato-Nuvini Deal


Conyers, Shearman, Skadden advise GlobalLogic deal, Canacol finance.

Latham & Watkins is representing the Mercato SPAC on its merger with Brazil-based Nuvini, which acquires and manages a portfolio of high growth SaaS companies in Latin America; Conyers and Shearman & Sterling advised on US-based GlobalLogic Inc’s acquisition of HX Group S.A., a company organized in Uruguay, and ServicesHexacta Corp., a British Virgin Islands company, together with all their respective subsidiary companies in the United States and Latin America; Skadden represented the syndicate of lenders in connection with Colombia-focused Canacol Energy Ltd.'s $121 million refinancing transaction; Skadden is representing BofA Securities, Inc. as dealer manager on the $2 billion tender offer from Mexican conglomerate FEMSA for its notes and Shearman & Sterling represented the bookrunners on the $2 billion offer from Mexican state oil company Pemex.
