Milbank Advises Brazil, Mexico Energy Deals

Milbank advises TotalEnergies-CdV deal, Tierra Mojada sale.

Milbank advised US-based Global Infrastructure Partners and Mexico-based Saavi Energia in connection with the acquisition of the Tierra Mojada combined cycle power plant in Jalisco, Mexico from US-based Fisterra Energy and Blackstone Energy Partners and France-based TotalEnergies in the joint development agreement with Brazilian renewable energy developer Casa dos Ventos to develop, build and operate CdV’s onshore wind and solar portfolio in Brazil, anticipated to be in excess of 10 GW.
