Latham & Watkins Advises on $1.6 Bln Financing in Mexico


Dentons, Hunton Andrews Kurth, White & Case advise Brazil, Chile, Colombia loans.

Latham & Watkins advised the joint global coordinators, lead arrangers, and bookrunners in connection with the $1.56 billion five-year term loan credit facility refinancing of shareholder loans provided to Mexico’s Infraestructura Marina del Golfo (IMG), the owner and operator of the Sur de Texas-Tuxpan natural gas pipeline; White & Case advised leading Brazilian natural gas transportation company Nova Transportadora do Sudeste (NTS) on three unsecured bilateral credit agreements for a total amount of $300 million; Dentons advised a syndicate of banks on a $275 million loan facility to Sucafina Brasil and Sucafina Colombia and Hunton Andrews Kurth advised the International Finance Corporation (IFC) on a $70 million unsecured loan to Chilean logistics provider and operator Agencias Universales S.A. (AGUNSA).
