Hughes Hubbard advised Brazilian information technology and software engineering company CI&T, a global digital specialist, in the execution of a sale and purchase agreement to acquire, a U.S. based digital transformation provider NTERSOL Consulting; Freshfields guided Mexican telecom carrier América Móvil to the closing of its 50:50 joint venture in Chile in association with US-based Liberty Latin America, which combined the Chilean operations of Claro Chile and VTR, two of Chile’s leading telecommunications operators; Milbank advises US-based Seacor Marine Holdings, Inc. in the sale of its minority equity interests in its unconsolidated joint ventures in Mexico and a series of related asset swaps for an aggregate consideration of $66 million in cash and Carey Olsen and Gunderson Dettmer advised on the $20 million Series B funding round of Colombia-based social commerce start-up Elenas.
