Latin America M&As Fell 22%

While Brazilian M&As declined 37% during the first nine months.

The value of announced mergers and acquisitions in Latin America declined 22% during the first nine months this year, according to Refinitiv data. That contrasts with a 178% jump during the same period last year. However, the third quarter marked an improvement over the first quarter and first half, when deal activity fell by 30% and 36%, respectively.
