Firms advise Latin America company investments from funds.

Hogan Lovells represented Mexico-based Valoreo in connection with investment by Argentina-based Kaszek Ventures fund; Morrison & Foerster represented SoftBank in its $150 million investment in Brazilian medical education group Afya; Carey Olsen's corporate team in the Cayman Islands have advised Brazilian eCommerce platform Nuvemshop on the raising of US$90 million in its latest funding round and Shearman & Sterling advised on a $200 million credit to Mexico-based Gruma, the largest corn flour and tortilla manufacturer in the world.
