CEOs Upbeat About Brazil, Less So on Mexico, Argentina
Optimism that Colombia won’t follow Chile in terms of unrest.

CEOs are expressing optimism over Brazil and Colombia, but are less upbeat when it comes to Mexico and Argentina.
“The overall business outlook for Latin America in 2020 is currently mixed,” says Woods Staton, Executive Chairman of Arcos Dorados, the world’s largest McDonald’s franchisee. “We expect to see continued strength in Brazil and modest progress in the economic and business trends in Mexico and Colombia this year.”
