Venezuela’s Economy: Smaller & Smaller


Dollarized economies remain stars in keeping inflation low.

Venezuela, which ranked as Latin America’s fourth-largest economy as late as 2012, now ranks as the tenth-largest in the region behind such economies as Ecuador, the Dominican Republic and Guatemala, according to a Latinvex analysis of new data from the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
