Firms Advise on $4.6 Bln Latin America Deals


Milbank, Norton Rose Fulbright, White & Case advise Mexico, South America deals.

White & Case advised US-based Sempra Energy on the $2.2 billion sale of its Chilean businesses to China’s State Grid; Milbank advised Singapore-based GIC on its $1.7 billion joint acquisition with Spain-based Abertis Infraestructuras of an approximate 70 percent stake in Mexican toll road operator Red de Carreteras de Occidente (RCO) and Norton Rose Fulbright advised Japan-based Sumitomo Chemical Company Limited on its agreement to purchase Australia-based Nufarm Limited’s crop protection business in South America for $650 million.
