Winston & Strawn represented Chile-based regional power company Enel Américas on a $3 billion capital increase -- the largest capital increase in Latin America in the past five years and the largest all-cash capital increase in Chilean history.
Skadden advised Brazil-based steel company Usiminas on its $750 million offer and Mexican breadmaker Grupo Bimbo on its $600 million offer.
Meanwhile, Cleary Gottlieb is advising Mexican state oil company Pemex and the Mexican Ministry of Finance in a series of landmark liability management transactions intended to strengthen the company’s financial condition. It also represented Mexican miner Industrias Peñoles on two bonds worth a combined $1.1 billion.
